Canada Points System

Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) is working towards points based system for catalysing the process of migrating skilled foreign nationals to Canada. Applicants who are eligible for any of the following programs are welcome to apply for its fast-track system the Express Entry.

1.Federal Skilled Worker Program,

2.Federal Skilled Trades Program, and

3.Canadian Experience Class

At large, the applicants registering their interest will be providing their details as regards their nationality, age, language ability, family members, education, work experience, income and details of any job offer from any Canadian employer or nomination from any province or territory.

All of these factors play a significant role in the success of a migrant’s move to Canada and economic development of the country itself. By bridging the gap between the needs of the labour market and migration of the skilled applicants, all the parties get benefitted. The top ranking applicants will be selected from the pool based on a point-system called the comprehensive ranking system (CRS).

All candidates will be scored on a total of 1,200 points. For this the CRS is based on four key parameters:
